Well when I got this disk for review I was under the
impression it was an actual game, but I was soon to find out that it was in fact a short
animated multipath story.
Not much to tell really I watched /played this 3 times to see what happened. Twice I
got the same ending, and each time was no longer than 15 minutes.
Basically this is a story about 2 teenagers Zach and Josh who are in the midst of some
research at a local museum when they find themselves accessories to a theft of a magic
amulet from a mummy in the Museum. The premise of the story is to decide what they do and
when and if they die basically.
So how does the transfer hold up?

VIDEO
Its actually not a bad animation. The film is very short so you
dont really get to interpret too much from it. The animation is quite good, I have
seen much better though. This reminds me of a fantasy playstation game. While the
animation wasnt overly realistic it was typical of game type animation. Some of the
backgrounds had me wondering though whether they were actually photographic or well-drawn
images that had been digitalised.
AUDIO
The Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track was also pretty good and
the surrounds and base channel were used quite frequently. There were a lot of instances
though were sound effects seemed to come from the wrong side of the film. Like footsteps
walking away coming from the rears. This was often a little disorienting. Other than that
the dialogue was clear and the occasional musical overtone was well placed.
Overall this wasnt too bad, but seemed to be very short and not really the kind
of thing you would play over and over again to get the different stories. It would
certainly be good for kids though especially around the ten-year age group.
