UNIVERSAL PICTURES VIDEO RE-ENTERS DVD MARKET
WITH DIRECT DISTRIBUTION

Universal Pictures Video are pleased to announce an awesome range of DVD titles available directly from UPV. Initially launching their DVD range in 1999 with a selection of quality film and music releases, Universal titles remain amongst the most sought after DVD’s in the marketplace. Following a short hiatus, the official re-launch in November will see an exciting selection of new titles released, along with favourites such as NOTTING HILL,

THE BIG LEBOWSKI, LOCK STOCK & TWO SMOKING BARRELS and TRAINSPOTTING available again in time for Christmas.

Universal Pictures Video will also be releasing their first DAY & DATE titles in November, BEETHOVEN’S 3^RD and TURBULENCE 2, and will follow this with a number of other simultaneous DVD and Video Rental releases.

Over the coming year, avid collectors can also expect a broad range of back catalogue titles to be available for the first time, including such "must have" DVD’s as TWO HANDS, QUADROPHENIA,NATURAL BORN KILLERS – THE DIRECTOR’S CUT, ARLINGTON RD, HIGHLANDER and AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON.

Further to this, all titles will now be packaged in new DVD cases reflecting the preferred industry and consumer choice for DVD.

Next year promises to deliver an exhilarating assortment of new releases which will establish Universal Pictures Video as one of the leaders in  the Australian DVD market, with an anticipated catalogue of over 100 titles available by mid 2001.
