INFOGRAMES Inc, one of worlds most successful interactive software
publishing and distribution companies are excited to announce the expansion of their Asia
Pacific business to include DVD movies and other interactive DVD entertainment software.
Leading the interactive gaming industry as one of the first to venture onto the new DVD
format and into a new facet of the entertainment industry, INFOGRAMES ASIA PACIFIC are set
to become one of Asia Pacifics most successful entertainment distributors.
INFOGRAMES Entertainment was founded in 1983 by Bruno Bonnell and
Thomas Schmider with the vision of becoming the premier provider of interactive
entertainment software. Today the company proudly ranks as one of the worlds top five
publishers of interactive entertainment software with a catalogue of over 1000 titles and
a direct-sales and third-party distribution network covering roughly 60 countries.
INFOGRAMES has forecast global revenue in excess of EURO $ 1 billion for the FY 2001 with
a goal of becoming the worlds leading interactive entertainment publisher.
INFOGRAMES ASIA PACIFIC newly established DVD division are right on
track in helping INFOGRAMES achieve this goal now offering a complete entertainment
solution to both the retail and rental markets. This new division is fully self-sufficient
offering dedicated sales, marketing and even authoring teams with the option of utilising
INFOGRAMES in-house development teams to aid in the authoring of its new DVD movies.

With an announcement today that exciting new INFOGRAMES ASIA PACIFIC
product will be hitting stores by the end of November it seems the video industry has a
new kid on the block. INFOGRAMES ASIA PACIFIC will launch a strong and varied catalogue
with the digitally remastered first three movies in the cult horror Halloween
series early in November. Following these classic slasher films will be a release schedule
full of quality titles including Francis Ford Cappolas Koyaanisqatsi and
Stephen Kings Dead Zone. As well as Classic comedy in Laurel and Hardy and
Abbott and Costello and Classic films with a series of Hitchcock box-sets
INFOGRAMES ASIA PACIFIC will be covering a range of price points from budget right through
to premium product, ensuring they are catering for the entire market. |
